Last 20 minutes had 3 occasions where they fell in pain and replay showed either only minor contact or no contact at all (one guy grabbed his face when replay showed nothing touched it).

unfortunately the nature of the game. Especially in the WC. Wish I would have played them earlier and got the .5. Oh well.

I've seen this at least a dozen times already in this WC. Given that FIFA has hi-def TV and super slo-mo at it's disposal, they should conduct reviews of all games and impose retroactive yellow cards to players who are clearly taking dives. If the player received a yellow card during the game then it becomes a red card.

agreed, I am a lifelong fan of football and I dont like the sissies that fall to the ground with every chance to waste time, if I was a ref I would red card every single one of them so that they learn to respect

fifa should be stricter on that matter, but unfortunately it is very hard to prove if a player is truly injured or not, probably impossible, and players would still get away with it

what is best I think is for the last 10-20 minutes of the game for fairplay rules to not apply, if a player from the winning team falls down, play goes on as normal, and medics pick up the injured player asap without disrupting the game
