I hate racists as much as anyone, but letting people off just because they're African American isn't not being racist. In fact, it's as race conscientious as you can get. An asshole's an asshole regardless of color, just as a killer is a killer. I used to coach at an all-black high school (picture Keanu Reeves in Hardball minus the looks), and couldn't believe what a sense of pride the community got from OJ "beating the man." Let's just ignore that little detail about two people being stabbed a trillion times over until they met their gruesome end. An all-white jury sentenced James Byrd Jr.'s killers to death, but a 10 member black jury was determined to set OJ free from the beginning. God bless the USA and our double standards....
