well... it had to be voted on and it passed...but no one knew for certain at the time what the costs would be. I voted no, so this stings even more.. but as long as I see a property value increase in the end, I'll get over it.

my fee's are 60.00. I just hammer away at them with numbers. If you want to raise my fee's then show me the money and where it goes and where the services are that we need said money for.

They wanted to do a bench by the mailboxes... once that got veto'd all the adult ladies hate me, all the other guys love me because I'm sort of like Dr House from that TV show... I just have a way with people. Its great

It's not much better owning a home.Try property taxes 1.1 percent of your assessed house vallue.Insurane,maintenace,and bills just to start off with.

check if your building needs new elevators anytime soon too.. they are a boatload of $$$ too, this building has them being done right now and its been about 3 weeks of stair climbing and smelly service elevator rides

I pay $512.00 a month is my association fees alone. It sucks but I live in one of the most desired places to live in all of California by the beach. They don't even want us to have a Directv Dish but I have one anyway. I am the only one who has it.

the garbage men did not take my trash today. i called the HOA but their office was closed and the after hours answering service didn't know anything. i'll call them tomorrow and demand a refund of my HOA fee since the service i pay for was not provided.
