#3hes terrible......complete liability out there, I have said all playoffs. That won jump was huge and they got NOTHING from it."This is why my basketball intelligence is unmatched on this site. I'm sure there are better cappers but no one can tell you the strategies of most coaches before the game even starts "

#11We can say it now in hindsight but the Lakers blew it when they decided to sign Artest and not Trevor Ariza. Ariza was/is a better team player than Artest, he knew the triangle and he was okay with starting or coming off the bench.
You can blame THAT decision on the Buss brothers who took over the team from daddy. They wanted the "name". Kupchak wanted Ariza.Comment -

#16Artest was putrid tonight, as a fan of the Lakers i cringe whenever he shoots but I usually live with it because he is a very good defender, he did lock down Kevin Durant and up until game 4 was doing a great job against Paul Pierce. Fair or unfair if the Lakers lose the title, it will fall on Ron's shoulders... I hope he can rise to the occasion and he has modified his game since coming to L.A., dude shot Houston out of alot of games last season and the shots Artest takes are generally open looks, he's just not reliable as a shooter at all but so long as he's not pulling the crap he did in Houston or other teams he played on I can forgive his offense, but the defense tonight was inexcusableComment -

#17lets face it if he hits those 2 free throws the lakers probably come back and win. Instead he misses two and kills all the momentum. i knew it was a bad move right when it happened. you are a championship team that is taking a risk on a player who is an emotional wreck and team chemistry disaster.Comment
