Please take note, I'm much more in favor of exterminating the bees than enlarging the goal.

How? What is it that foreigners hate about scoring in soccer, or is it just the few I've seen here saying that more scoring would hurt the game? Tell me one other sport that's at least arguably has some public following and has fewer than 2.5 scores over a similarly lengthened game?

Please no. That would be terrible. Soccer doesn't need more goals. One of the great things is that you can keep a clean sheet as a defense which is mostly impossible in other sports. I hate 4-4 scores in soccer as it usually means someone's not doing their job properly.

The problem is the ball...is bouncing way to high, I saw a lot of good passes jumping over the players head. The new ball designed by Adidas is puked up.

Scoring has to be something that is difficult to achieve. That's part of the reason I can't enjoy high-scoring games like basketball or handball. I mean even if you defend well you end up with 100 points against you. The avg amount of goals worldwide is ~2.5 and that's just the right amount for the game imho.

And if you think about it, 'because it's been that way' is actually a pretty good reason. Would you like to see a fundamental change in a sport you love that has existed for 100+ years?

Besides the size of the goal has to be in keeping with the human body. A good goalkeeper has to have a realistic chance to reach every part of the goal (and you wouldn't believe how HUGE the goals already are until you've been in one). So I'd say the current size is just about right.

And if you think the game is boring making the goals bigger isn't necessarily change that. If the Ghanian player today hadn't hit the post but the goal would it have been a better game just because the score were 1-0 instead of 0-0? Teams playing caution in their opening game isn't something you can fix with a bigger goal.
