The limits are actually ok at some of the Aussie books. I know I have a $30k limit on some sports at one (not totals) and $20k at another. Not like I'll probably ever place bets that high but at least the option is there instead of having to spread money around at 6 different places.

Limits are fine JJ, I'm yet to hit any.

TO answer your question as to why they are so ahead of the curve I think it all comes back to sports betting and gambling in general being legal and not frowned upon for the most part in both Australia and England thus more people and better employees/programmers are attracted.

Another amazing thing is they carry horse-racing from all over the world including USA tracks, you can just sit in front of one of these books 24 hrs a day and be betting live events, I am looking at one book now and have all three in running betting on the 3 tennis events in UK.

. All have Micro minimum limits also for the small players.

There casinos are unreal also, live hot dealers, etc

We should take a strong look at these and learn, they make much more money also than usa type books also
THe more you put up daily in front of a screen the more people bet.

I hate to admit this but when I first got into live betting a few weeks ago after much resistance on my part, one of the things that made me feel better was the thought that at least I can't screw myself as badly as Spindles would if he were doing it.
