So what did we learn on Saturday?

The UFC is doing something right: They ran out a bunch of their aging and younger fighters and still put on a pretty good show. They market their fighters well, have a surplus of people ready to bash eachothers face in and put on a great show. I dont see how boxing can compete with these guys. Dana White is a genius.

As much as you love soccer, you have to admit, it's pretty stupid: I tell you soccer is the dumbest sport on the planet because all you need is a ball and a couple garbage cans to play. There were dozens of punches like that tonight, it's a little different when it's 150 pounder knocking out another. Take the heavyweight fight with Barry and Crocop tonight. Cropcop got hit with two punches like that coming from a man 100 pounds heavier that a little welterweight, granted he got knocked down but he got right back up. I'll give you the skill but in a real fight without the dodging and grabbing, when most anything is allowed it's a different ballgame.
