pre 1980s cards have worth, but if you dont understand why the stars of a generation taking steroids and not being voted in the hall of fame (clemens, bonds, sosa, mcgwire) destroys the worth of their rookie cards and year two cards, then you dont know jack about baseball card collecting and should probably keep your trap closed

Please get a clue. You have overproduced cards that aren't worth 90% of their value when you bought them. You blame the steriod era for the price decline.

Exactly, during the mid 80's baseball card became a speculators market, companies turned out massive amounts of cards and people hoarded and babied the one they got buying cards to make a buck --

Cards from that era turned out to not be rare and therefore lack value --many cards actually dropped in value as it became apparent just how many there were of them out there,

I haven't really heard from anyone, Im serious about buying everyones cards. If you really want to sell them, pm me.

Don't sit there and expect me to pay full beckett price or something though. Please don't waste my time if you are trying to get what they are "worth".
