The nature of the system has been described before but there is no use bringing that up or citing examples because it would just bring sour grapes into this thread. I believe there is another player who is in a similar situation and the people who run the board have let it been known that the system is considered a privilege not a right.

I couldn't care less about points, 97% of every point I've touched has been lost on roulette. My 400 point loan balance is now around 150 points. Might be just a marketing ploy for you SBR but these points do mean something to some people. Like I said I am not one of them, I've been giving my 7 daily on loans for months.

Camel lent me a lot of points and now you are making me STIFF him SBR. You really showed me I was wrong by turning off my points...HAHAHA J/K... You know as well as I do if you turned off everyone's points the traffic would drop so much you would be selling like it was a BP stock after the spill.

Anyways do the right thing SBR john, Lou whoever pay camel since you are the ones basically stiffing him. Was really nice meeting some of you guys/girls been a pleasure most of the time. Obviously SBR won't stop because I leave, I don't expect it to.

It's too bad you aren't getting free points. Maybe you should compete in free contests so you can give your friend back his. Start having some fun. Points are an added rewards bonus in the SBR network, not a guarenteed paycheck.

Or maybe you can talk to Willie Bee and write some capping opinions in your blog? Then you would kind of have a points gig.

I'd like to see mod commentary on why Excel isn't supposedly getting participation points. The reason he's alleging is something most of the community already knew.

There is no way you had your points suspended for just that. There are a 100 of those posts a day.

I have no idea what got you in a hole but I do have some helpful advice with this and other situations that come up; when you get in a hole, the first thing to do to get out of it is to stop digging.

In other words, try working with whatever the problem is instead of doing the ole I'll hold my breath gig.

Hope you work it out...you had some funny exchanges with our beloved Bateman.

Excel, just a question for you and one that I think might be not taken as intended but for the life of me I can't figure out a better way to ask.

Is your personal pride more important than your honor/word?

While I respect ANYONE that takes a stand to prove a point even if others can't identify with the point they are making (doesn't apply in this case just saying in general) and think they should be commended for taking said stand but in taking that stand should an innocent bystander have to suffer in your cause?

Would you not do yourself better justice (in terms of karma) by taking this stand AFTER you have honored your full obligation to the person you borrowed from?

A man is judged by the intent of his actions and the integrity of his honor. One without the other leaves one but half a man.

I personally have no ill feelings toward you and I have to admit I have enjoyed much of what you have brought to SBR so this is not a personal attack merely a suggestion to be considered.

Gonna miss your posts Ex. You made me laugh on a daily basis. Some of the mods here do seem to be a little heavy handed. I do agree that since SBR turned off the points, then they should finish repaying the loan. Especially since Ex has been paying it down in good faith on a daily basis.

Yeah, makes no sense at all if his points were disabled solely for saying what he did there, as it has been said numerous times before and is generally very accurate.

Either he's not telling the full story or one of the mods made a pretty bad error in judgment, which has certainly been known to happen before.

I am a marketing guy & have said many times over that the points is the best money maker SBR could do. That post is nothing to get anyone an infraction.

Usually a banishment of point earnings is associated with existing accounts earning points already. He knew too much from old times for someone being here for a couple months.
