no capping involved as i think La is the better team, however i think it serves NBA best for this series to be tied 2-2 so im liking Bos solely for that reason, in the end i may pass as i put a pretty nice bet on La for series after game 2 at -131 now grabbed enough of bos +305 to cover if La somehow loses so im pretty content with a no risk bet on La winning series.....

those days are over! how many series have gone the distance? that is what the NBA wants, don't it? just can't be fixed no more with all the pressure on being legit.

yes havnt been a lot of long ones but most of them didnt have the draw that they get from La/bos series, didnt La/bos go 6 last time?

I dont mean to bust your balls but I still think celts win this series

they are two great teams..no real loser here..we are blessed with a classic matchup..celts still could have won last night had 3 possesions had a different outcome

Handicapping a game/series in which the officials have imposed their will makes it especially tough. Everytime I see a guy go the free throw line anymore I curse David Stern. He's SO afraid of another "Malace in the Palace" that he's instructed the officials to call the games tight aka "ticky-tack".

Personally I don't like it...but that's what we're going to see from here on out. The days of "let 'em play" are gone.

P.S. For what it's worth, Paul Pierce was right. The series isn't going back to LA.

Boston is the sharp side tonight, I have a slight lean towards them. The Lakers played fairly well to win game 3.

NBA is Thursday night and Sunday night before the series would go back to LA.

Some valid points made here John. The only thing I would reconsider if i was you is to realize this is not Cleveland. Nothing the Lakers want more than to close out Boston on the road. Sounds crazy I know but I think it's very possible. Lakers love to close out series on the road and I know they sure as hell don't want a 2-2 series score after tonite.
