Nobody has heard that phrase "dumb like a fox" or "crazy like a fox"? Wow, getting older I guess. Yes it means someone who acts dumb but actually has complete control of their faculties and only disguises their cunning and guile for their own purposes.

Bipolar. There is no other way to explain it. It can't possibly all be an act because even the worlds greatest actors could not do this 24/7/365. He can't be completely deranged or he would be institutionalized. Bipolar is the only logical explination.
