#2Not currently, but I've played quite a bit in the past.
Never got good enough at it to make it consistantly worthwhile..........although I have profited ever so very slightly overall.
Why do you ask?

ps- I have put in tons more hours in a live setting, and have fared much better.............FLORIDA going to uncapped buy-ins in a few weeks, so will be attacking that when I find the time to do such.Comment -

#3Well I know you're a grinder, but I've always found poker to be way too slow and boring. I don't have the patience for it. Live games are even more boring due to their slower pace, but I don't trust online poker either. I think it's rigged.Comment -

If I enjoyed online poker more and knew that it was 100% on the up and up, I would certainly play more.
As you do, I find it rather boring online..........but I do enjoy playing in person if the stakes are decent and the fish are plentiful.Comment -

#5online poker is not rigged it is just correlated, like when you are sitting at a table of 10 and 3 of your opponents are high school buddies who are openly discussing their hands and thoughts via a 3-way phone call.Comment -

.....or was the case in the Absolute Poker case, opponents knew what cards you were holding.
Look, Mike the Mouth endoses FULL TILT and he still maintains it is not on the up and up.Comment -

#12I will say this: As boring I as find poker, I am looking forward to the tourney at the Bash.
As for my comment about it being rigged, I just see way too many "big" hands than I see at a regular game, and they always seem to come up in the same hand. For example, when someone is holding pocket Kings, it just seems that there is always someone else holding a big hand at the same time (QQ, AA, JJ, etc.).
Fish, didn't Mike the Mouth lose a boatload of money playing online poker?Comment -

#13Originally posted by ReloadI fear how empty the wallets and bank accounts of anyone sitting at your table will end up like with "uncapped" buy-ins, Fish!
Not many, but only need a few to make it highly worthwhile.
FH
PS-Hopefully I can team up with Patrick McIrish on a few occassions, as he will not only provide inspriration to play better, but also is someone that I know can honestly assess my strengths and weaknesses at the table, which will only better my game in the longrun.Comment -

He always has claimed such, but I haven't spoken with him in months nor have I watched any of his videos in the past year..........don't really know for sure.Comment -
