I am staying at the J.W. Marriott resort in Guanacaste, this area and the Tamarindo beach area are amazing.....The people here treat the guests as they are royalty. The food and accomidations are off the chain. I would recomend this place for anyone to vacation with no kids. The activities for kids are few but an adult couple would have a blast....yesterday I rode the zip-line over the jungle canopy.....you should have seen the little guys face when my 6'5" 340lbs self asked to ride, I thought he was gonna piss his pants, the line held and all is well. today is lounging by the pool and margaritas and mohitos(hope I spelled them right) well guys more to come later my lady just got out of the shower and its time to make her want another

awesome awesome area! mambo bar in tamarindo is a cool bar/club for late night. rent jet skiis and ride on over to playa grande if you're within distance - it's so awesome to ride the waves

when i go to tamarindo, i'm not really looking for steakhouses (I mainly eat seafood at the beach), but I would imagine that they're there. They would have to imported, primarily from argentina and the states. I don't know of any steakhouses there, so it would have to be restricted to the nicer hotels, although there is an Automercado (local supermarket chain) in the area, that would carry anything, if you want to cook it yourself.

Pavy I am also 6'5" tall I carry the 340 very well at 42 years old......not as well as I carried 310 at 30 yrs old.....but I assure you if I wasnt with a woman here I would have no trouble taking pics of the babes.....Holdem dont stay lonely long.....but pics would be disrespectful seeing as I am on my HONEYMOON.....

I stayed at the Paradisius in Guanacaste a good 5 years ago, Playa Conchal i believe the town was.. It was one of my favorite trips, the people there are incredibly nice, ate at a cool place right on the beach in tamarindo and partied there at night it was a blast! Took a ride out to the Monteverde cloud forest one day there, we had the most sketchy ride in this bus going up these rail thin dirt roads on the side of mountains, fun stuff!
