Funny, I thought T day was an exclusive North American holiday. Cris probably doesnt realize this . Go ahead and re-up and send cigars to me Jamie, since you dont celebrate T day anyways, happy holidays.

I actually thought Cris was being ironic in the current climate, maybe they wish the USA was still part of the British Empire?

Still never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, I shall spark up a fat one and be thankful for small mercies.

Cris is probably the only book in that family offering this, and they don't do business in the USA.

I am only guessing, maybe I'm just not eligible.
I am with DSI and Bookmaker, and have not seen this.

I think the "great Thanksgiving treat" in Jamie's offer is only for non-Americans, lol

Per my request bookmaker sent me a battle-by-battle re-enactment of the American revolutionary war. I accepted this in place of the bonus of course.

I requested a special section of the way Francis Marion AKA the swamp fox slickly led the british into the swamps of the southeast only to play them like a fiddle.

Jamie, a little know fact is that in 1954 President Eisenhower was ready to use atomic weapons against the Viet Minh, in regards to the seige at Dien Bien Phu. The British strongly opposed the measure, afraid to many civilian casulties would occur, and the US relented to them.

Had the British not opposed the atomic weapons use in Viet Nam in 1954, there never would have been a Viet Nam conflict. 100s of thousands of lifes would have been spared over the next 20 years in SE Asia, if the British rule at the time hadnt been so afraid of atomic weapons use.

Saved lives? I think the nuclear death toll would have seriously outweighed battle casualties .

In honor of Sunday being Veterans day here in the US I will not add more to this thread about the Viet Nam Conflict.I understand you guys call it Armistice Day, so I thank all the soldiers world wide who served their respective countries.

For those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, RIP brothers.
