    Complaint against Sportsbook.com
I am new here and wonder how I go about filing a complaint about the sportsbook.com group. They closed my accounts in the group for "free bet" abuse, and seized all funds. I probably made $200 - $300 over the last couple of years on free bets and they seized about 10K......

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Sportsbook.com sinks to a new low, stealing 10k for playing the weekly $10 freebie! There's a complaint form on the home page or you can email assistance@sportsbookreview.com

They stole about the amount from me for playing same game parlays recently. SBR could not get them to pay me (and about 30 others). Sportsbook.com is in full thief mode, and I'm sorry to say your chances at collecting aren't good.

WOW what an amazing differance between the reaction from this thread (sportsbook.com) and the other thread (BOL)... He is stating he has several accounts and don't get the "I know there is more to this then you are saying " sh*t..or better yet..... "don't post your complaint it will hurt your chances of getting paid".. Hey Raiders how about checking this one out...

I hope none of you are ever called for Jury Duty..

Difference is SB has dozens of sister sites. Nothing wrong with having a SB.com account and say a Hollywood account. Still think your money is safe there (hope they stiff you, maybe then you'll stop supporting this shit book).

Second.. we don't know what he is doing with the free bets... He could be betting them against each other... I am not saying he is but it is possible there is abuse here I don't know...

Lastly.. unlike you I can and am willing to read the T & A and respect it..not ignore it and just hope they won't catch me...

If you're right, then take back the money he won, perhaps a few hundred dollars--not 10k.

And shove the T & A 's up your fat ass.

Yeah.. what would Tony from 5Dimes do..?

He didn't say they stole it YOU DID!!! He said they froze it.. Funny how the BOL account is frozen for $71F*CKIN' K!!!!! and you didn't say in that thread it's theft...

What a bullsh*tter you are... Even after knowing something is not to be done you do it anyway and hope to get away with it... Yeah ..and you're telling the whole truth too ...right!

What part of "seized all funds" don't you get. They took all his money (aka... stealing).

about 2 years ago they started cracking down on the $10 free bets. It was very common for people who had accounts at multiple sites like playersonly, aces, sports, and sportsbook to bet 1 side at one book, and the opposite side at another and lock in $10. They consider that abusing the system. Seemingly, if one were to have 4 accounts, and bet the same side in all 4 accounts, that wouldn't be against the rules, eventhough over the course of a year your expectancy would be the same.

DOens't suprise me at all that they confiscated all the funds. These guys are total scum. If it were me, I'd try to negotiate a reasonable settlement with them. Then I'd call my CC compnay and charge back every deposit I ever made.

Yeah I don't doubt it's common practice to hedge free bets against each other but somehow since it's sportsbook.com it's ok but if it were another book they would be rippin' the poster... THAT WOULD BE BONUS ABUSE!!!

Hey SMR what did they say that they were keeping the funds or just frozen pending an investiagtion..?

SMR: Did you file the complaint with SBR as I suggested? They will go to bat for you 100%, but in the end it'll be up to SB.com to do the right thing (and they haven't been doing so lately).

I think people are starting to see more and more for themselves as to just why they have such a very low rating here at SBR.

I was going to suggest filling out a complaint form SMR, but if you already emailed your details in. Then just disregard.

                              Well...at least they're paying recently

I was reluctant to play SB again after it took three months to get paid earlier this year, but my last two payouts have come within eight days, and from legit banks.

Bookmaker still has them beat. My last two payouts have each come three days after requesting them. Amazing. Too bad they're not taking deposits from me at the moment. I'm stuck playing SB this weekend. I say "stuck" because even though they've paid quickly as of late, I still have a sour taste from earlier this year. I'd never let more than a couple thousand build up in my SB account though.

What kind of abuse did they actually accuse you of?

It doesn't look good. The last time they swept through the accounts like this it took 7 months to reverse it. This is exactly what they said they wouldn't do again and it is in the same mgr's lap so will continue to push for a response. Consider the new scam status is SB, there isn't as much reason to be optimistic this time around.
