I have never used it, but know 2 people who have & said it was awesome. One of the guys I know is in the military & went through a military course & RS is what the government uses. He learned Spanish rather easily he said using it, and is now working on Arabic.

The real key I feel to learning a second language is using it in real world situations. I took 2 years of Spanish in HS but never used it out of the classroom and forgot most of it. With Spanish, translating English words to Spanish words is no big deal using some memorization, the tough part is when you actually try to communicate and have to conjugate the verbs.

I learned more Spanish & how to use it properly by spending a couple months in Mexico & Texas because everyone was speaking it & speaking it properly.

Here in East Tennessee we're just getting the hang of proper English. But I do enjoy listening to the migrant illegals in the summer.

I really have no use to learn another language. I am can speak and read 3 languages as it is. I have heard great things about it.

I used Rosetta Stone German. it was really great but you will get more experience by just going to the country and immersing yourself in the language and culture

Yeah, the apparently the way it works is that it replicates the immersion in the language that youd get if you lived in the country where they spoke the language, which is why people have success with it.
