He's going through a rough patch right now, could be an injury, could be fatigue. Hard to say, but today, location is an issue for sure. I mean, that walk to start the inning was an issue, with that fourth ball missing big time. Then a huge defensive play saves him, and then location catches up with him again.

I heard today on the radio that he stopped his long tossing program, which was an integral part of his between-start regimen. He dad told him to get his butt on the program again, and he started it again in between this start and last. That, by the way, is what Zito started doing before this season.

I wouldn't expect to see immediate results, but I would expect Lincy's performance to steadily improve from here on out this season.
