    gamblers thread
okay boys heres a good topic to argue about.

we all agree if your betting 1.00 a game you shouldnt be in the game its a waste of the books time and your time even more.

10.00 a game personally to me seems like a waste of time but i can see some cappers who wanna get better and build there rolls play it.

100.00 a game seems average for betting to me.what do you feel.

1,000 a game now your not no rookie but your not a vet either it seems.seems like if your playing 1-3 percent and 1k is your min bet seems like things are going good for you keep it up.

10,000 now you seem like life is pretty damm good.your driving that nice bmw you always wanted living eating good.seems to me when your at 10k life cant get worse.

100k well now your the billgates of sports if your min bet is 100k playing 0.50-2 percent of your roll your just a baller who deserves the crown.

1 mill a game like 0.10-0.25 your bankroll your just that freak on this earth who likes gambling and will always have that good life.

my question for all you gamblers.

we all agree 1.00 is a waste of time correct.

we mainly agree 10.00 is worthless as well.except for some cases.

100.00 is average like not living bad but not living good either right.

also how hard is it to become a 100.00 min better.im not at that level yet.as far as bankroll management is concerned but sometimes i bet over it sometimes i dont.how hard is it to consistanly bet 100.00 a game.

now how do you go from a 100.00 better to 1,000.00 better like in a year is it even possible.

ive ran numbers and if your betting 1,000 which should be 3 percent max of your bankroll you should be living really really large.no debts no bills no worries for the major part.

how hard is it to go from a 1k bettor to 10k

10k seems like if you ever get to this level it seems to me like your just balling.nothing should ever get in your way.am i correct esp if it is within 0.50-2 percent of your roll.

10k just like a number millions will never get to.in the sports world unless you got a fancy job.

100k well this defines a freak but i can see how some can be able to.i just think with 100k your not worried about money.

1 million a game seems like for the rich and famous and greedy.i mean if you have the money go for it as long as its a very very small number of your bankroll.but to me there seems no purpose to ever bet this much on a game ever.

i need all you gamblers thoughts give me your break down on the limits increasing.

p.s personally i think 100k should never be bet on a game.seems way to high even if you got 10 mill in the bank or more.seems like 100k is just to much you hit one wager you dont have to work 1 day the next year.

for me the limits are from like 10.00-50k shouldnt be less shouldnt be more.imho

When I was in college I went from 10 to 20 to 50 to eventually 100. You do not need to make that drastic of a jump.

What about action for the sake of having action. I hear all the time, "I'm not watching that game 'cause i don't have any money on it."

As for amount, it's relative. I put 25-50 bucks a game, while JJ goes 5 hundy to a dime, it's what you can afford. IMO

As far as 10k plus a game, not sure there is a need to gamble if someone is rolling with that much disposable imcome.

usually go 50 on nba games...anywhere from 100-1000 on cbball depending on how much i like the game...don't really bet baseball unless i really like it and i'll go whatever the money line is...football i try to always stay at 100....i never bet over/unders

When I first started I was betting $1 a game. Not for the money, just to keep track of my Win/Loss percentages and various statistics. I'm glad I did it too because instead of losing thousands of dollars I only lost hundreds of dollars. It may have been a waste of the books time but it certainly wasn't a waste of my time. It's sort of like being an intern. You may not get paid but the experience is invaluable.

I think it depends on the type of bettor you are. Obviously if you enjoy large amounts of action, it is possible that you ll probably bet a lot less per game. Personally i bet about $500-$10,000 per game. I have several friends of mine in the law firm that bet or play up to 50,000-100,000 per game, even play 5-10 grand per hand in black jack in vegas. But i feel that we all play within our limits, and more or less enjoy the thrill of playing and gambling. once you start getting nervous about winning or losing, you obviously have no business betting that amount on a single game. again we all have different opinions
