does anyone watch pawnstars ?

I went to the shop a couple months ago when I was in Las Vegas. Depending on the time of day or night you go it can be a trendy tourist attraction. They sometimes have a line to get in and shuffle you in and out and exit to the gift store. A completely different feel from when you watch the show.

I can't believe these people that take the 1st offer !

I just watched a few episodes on demand.

One guy wanted to pawn a bike for 20k, Fat Hoss offers 8k, guy says no way, all of a sudden he gets a 15k loan. Dude looks like he will lose the bike.... but at least get more for it.

These guys are scum and they even have the audacity to claim they are like noble public servants providing people a way to get some fast cash. It's more like buy your old junk for cheap, so I can sell rare vintage historical important vintage precious premium quality unique historical examples of early Americana.

I like Pickers, too, but I can't imagine how they make much of a living other than getting paid by History Channel.

you're kiddin', right? HUGE markey in antiques! My great uncle has worked with antiques all his life & he's a very wealthy man. There is no certain price, something is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it & how bad they want it.

Alot of the market is for decorators & collectors. Something may not really be worth $100 but if its the one you need to complete a set its priceless
