#72BGS 9.5-- I was born in 1971 and remember everything----It's very upsetting that these guys passed away.Kerry Von Erich had a muscular body,a drug addiction, and half a foot.(not to mention all of Texas backing him).He knew he was going to jail and shot himself in the chest.
It sucks that all of my wrestling heroes are dying. Curt Hennig was an actual wrestler,a personality, and when he got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, his family accepted for him---very sad
I remember when Bob Backlund was champ--that's when I got hooked
WTBS at 6:05 in the little ring that made a lot of noise. The Four Horsemen were the best---2 hours of wrestling fun.I was in high school --lifting weights and watching the tv at the same timeComment -

#75Yes Shorty...The Animal...best of all time. I have heard he was actually a teacher or a professor before wrestling. When I was a kid, I'd watch him live and I would shake my head and wonder who in their right mind would enter the ring against this...animal!Comment -

#76My mom watched it as a kid and got me hooked - I kinda gave up on it after the territories went under, but man, was that some enjoyment in my younger days! I still YouTube old 70's matches.Originally posted by will2surviveBGS 9.5-- I was born in 1971 and remember everything----It's very upsetting that these guys passed away.Kerry Von Erich had a muscular body,a drug addiction, and half a foot.(not to mention all of Texas backing him).He knew he was going to jail and shot himself in the chest.

The Four Horsemen were my favorite group
Most acrobatic wrestler:Jeff Hardy
My favorite wrestler:Mr. Perfect
easy on the bashing people: these guys put their bodies on line
I'm assuming the original Four Horsemen with Rick Flare, Olie and Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard right? There have been a number of Four Horsemen over the years.Comment -

#81Wal66: There is only one group of four horseman---that's Slick Rick Flair,Ole Anderson,Arn Anderson, and Tully Blanchard accompainied by Baby Doll---they ruled wrestling. I liked Barry Windham as part of the group but he eventually became a jobber and Luger didn't have the chops or personality to be a horseman....at the time...to me...they were the eliteComment -
