MoneyGram Slammed Me...

Long story short I was sending money to a friend in Costa Rica. I put in the request online and was told to call.

When I got someone live she asked me to confirm my information so I did. Now...

MoneyGram: "May I ask who you are sending money to and what is your relationship with her?"

Me: "Sending to Mrs. Smith and she is a friend of mine."

**: "Who did you send to last week?"

Me: "Mrs. Brown."

**: "Why are you reading the names off the screen? If they are your friends you should not be reading their names of the computer screen?"

Me: "Excuse me..."

**: "I asked why you have to read the names off a computer screen?"

Me: "Because I AM sitting in FRONT of a computer just like you are and you are reading information off a screen."

**: "Sir I am not sending money to another country. Now why are you reading their names off your screen?"

Me: "First it is none of your business how I give you information. You asked a question and I answered it. Go ahead and cancel my request. You just lost a customer for life..."

**: "So you want to cancel the transfer?"

Me: "**** off you rude bitch and cancel it..."

I am totally blacklisted from sending or receiving moneygram. It happened last year after a few months of constant sending and receiving to/from nicaragua. I went through the same thing.

that happens all the time when you try to send moneygrams/** online.... i got tired of dealing with them so i just go to a local convince store with little old asian lady running it and she asks no questions

Have had ** transfers held up in the same way when sent online. Have never had a problem sending in person.

i've had problems sending in person. I've had to call back ** and confirm the country the receiver was born, how i knew them, and their DOB. If you send from your own name too many times they know whats going on.

I have never had a problem with ** or **. But I only send them in person and never too often or more than $1K at a time.

I just go to Walmart no Walmart employee gonna give me a problem. Never been questioned. If so just would say it is for a timeshare or charity.

I tried to send one online once and also had problems with it and it ended up getting canceled. Never had any problems sending or receiving from Walmart.
