      Sprint - Evo

Went to a concert Saturday...phone was in 4G the whole time with nice speeds on the internet. Battery life sucks donkey dick, but I'm sure most phones like this do, when you use them.

Phones in 4G now at my work, and was the whole drive here. What sucks is when I go down to the local establishment, like I did yesterday, the phone was in 4G the whole time, and didn't drop. But my house which is less than 3 miles away, doesn't get 4G. According to the coverage map, 4G stops at the subdivision to the East of me, where the bar is.

Never used an Iphone, I went from a Blackberry to this phone. Evo is obviously better, but I really did like the ability to type fast on the blackberry. I use the text to speech on the EVO, then edit instead of typing the whole thing out.

And it tells you the weather of which town you are in, on your main screen, under the clock(if you have it set up that way)...last night when it was raining, when you turn on the screen, it shows raindrops and windshield wipers for the 3-5 seconds, which I thought was pretty cool

Overall got the phone, because T-mobiles service was horrible at my house, dropped calls, and just failing to be able to call anyone with them being to understand me. Sprint service has been good so far at the house in regard to making phone calls.

Chicago....southwest suburbs. My g/f just and she hasn't dropped outta 4G on her 45 minute ride to work. I haven't dropped it since I've been at work, which is in a small country'ish town.

4G here as well. Only a handful of areas have it at point.

I do think it is messed up to release a device that can't take advantage of its features (main one at that) everywhere. I can, so I fell special.

But if you know that you're not in a 4G area....turn it off under the wireless & networks settings...If you have it on, it constantly is scanning, and eats away at your battery BADLY.

                              200?, those crooks

search ebay, you will get it under 50 guaranteed, unless this new phone has a new connection, which would not surprise me. Also, never buy your batteries from the store either.

seriously brock, WTF are you gonna need 32gb for on a phone?

edit: yeah it looks like most places don't even have them yet. if newegg doesn't have it then almost no one will have it. looks like sandisk.com is your best bet......right now. give it a month and then it will be lower i bet.

Yeah. The 4G logo will replace the 3G one. Looks the same where you turn it off at, 4G with 3 bars on top. But yes, turn it off if your not in a 4G network. You can have the phone alert you when you are in a 4G area. Save some of that battery, the EVO needs every bit of it.
