they have been spamming incessantly lately... they were one of the best years ago while Fernando was there.. they were later sold to the Sportsbook.com group I believe... wouldn't touch em anymore..

Secondly, I think guys should not under estimate the popularity of betting baseball. Books don't starve because the NFL is done. Books starve because they also "think" book making is a seasonal job. Strong books actually thrive during the so called "off season". Small to medium size books that cater to guys that bet all year long do even better. The efforts to drive players during the off season has nothing to do with a shop dying for business. It has more to do with a book understanding players don't want to be left out either. Meaning they understand baseball is viable.
