    Dodger over cinch
If you want the lock of the day, take the over on the dodger/brave game. I believe it's 8 1/2, whatever they combine for at least 13 according to my stats. THe braves are starting their worst pitcher, and Kershaw is about due for a horrible game, so those two entities promise high scoring.

      Ok...first, there are no locks..

Second, Archie is correct. While there is no good way to spin KK's numbers...he's been much better in his last three outings:

      0-1 record
      2.41 ERA
      IP 18.2
      Hits 16
      Runs 5
      ER 5
      SO 9
      BB 3
      HR 2

Now, those aren't Cy Young numbers, but he has been better...

Clayton Kershaw has also been pretty good his last three as well...

      W-L 2-1
      ERA 1.47
      IP 18.1
      Hits 15
      Runs 4
      ER 3
      SO 20
      BB 8
      HR 0

I'm not sure this adds up the slam dunk over that you think it is...

      GL w your play though..

UNDER 8 -115 for me. Also on Braves +140.

Kawakami is closer to getting his first win than he is to a bad outing.

As of a couple games ago Kershaw is receiving the lowest run support of any mlb pitcher at home since last July. It was something terrible like 2 runs per game.

And, while I'm a Braves fan...

I absoluely understand the thought process.

I've faded KK a lot myself so far this season...
