There was certainly a ton of money on the UNDER 191 and you're right, the shot may indeed saved the books a little money then it cost them............ thus the shot didn't make that much of a difference.

On a side note, a friend of Billsfan and mine had $15,000 total on the UNDER 191 and 191.5 .................with most of it at the 191 number..........so this is a firsthand example of what you stated.

why do people think that vegas took more action on the celtics money line and +5.5/+6??

usually the betting public in vegas pounds the lakers all the way. every single time i've been in a vegas sports book for a dodgers or lakers game the crowd is 95% on the dodgers/lakers.

offshore i wouldn't doubt more people were on the celtics but vegas is often a different story with its proximity to los angeles.

Well, if the pub didn't pound the Celtics in the first game, I believe that they will be pounding them in game 2. It should be a closer game, but with the same result. Lakers win!
