France = Frenchmen are gaymen so that speaks for itself + no Zidane
Mexico = Great team, with great player = might win this group
Uruguay = team that is going to get beat up

Mexico hasnt played bad they have played some of the better teams in the world. England, Netherlands and Italy tomorrow. Theyve shown they can play but I see both France or Uruguay qualifying. Either or can win the group in my opinion. The key match will be France versus Uruguay.

well carmelo has a point

in the history of the world cup, the host nation has never been disqualified from the group stages

will this be the first time that a host nation is disqualified this early? or will south africa be the shocker team in the WC?

I say mexico is not a football giant, while uruguay has fallen from football grace and france is half the team it used to be, albeit still very talented, south africa can pull it out if they know a fraction of football and can take advantage of the surprise factor

The fact that a host nation has never failed to make it out of the group stages is offset by the fact that the host nation has made it to the final four in 12 out of 18 World Cups, with 6 of them winning the tournament. For the most part we're talking about good teams, whereas South Africa has to be considered among the bottom ranks in this year's group. They're going to need to play fairly well to advance unless two of the other teams have very disappointing games, host nation or not...
