They manhandled two best teams in NBA in Cleve and Orlando on their courts
Why will they not do it to Lakers too?

I can't see Kobe not winning the Title this year. I don't know how difficult it will be but it will be interesting.

They did it 2 yrs ago
The Lakers are too soft, play no defense, the Lakers have no identity, this is a bad matchup for the Lakers, the Celtics will force the Lakers to play their style of basketball
I cant say the Lakers starters are better than the Celtics, the Celtics bench is better
The Lakers are better than Clev and Orlando, the 2-3-2 format is not good for the celtics, they have to win it on the road

Very good point. The Celtics have done what most thought they couldn't. Myself included. The way I see it the Lakers will bring the Celtics back down to earth in the finals. Lakers in 6

love when i hear this misconception that La doesnt play D when clearly they have faced better offensive teams in the playoffs and have held opponents to a lower fg% and 3 pt % than bos has, also love hearing the "La is soft" BS when you only talking about one player (Gasol) unless you are calling kobe/artest soft ( doubtful) and we will see about Gasol yes bos roughed him up and took him out his game 2 years ago but i believe he is mentally tougher at this point and knows what is coming and it will not get to him....yes Bynum is limited but he is playing which is more than he was doing last time around, Pierce was MVP last time this time Artest is here for just tht reason, same Celtics (well more worn down) and a better La team yet everyone wants to compare this to last time around.....

Funny you say this. My buddy just said the same exact thing last night. These guys basically beat 2 of the top 4 teams in the league in 2 consecutive series. Their defense is fierce, they have shooters all over the place, and their big men (KG & Perkins) are a lot more physical than Gasol and Bynum. Gasol and Bynum are softer than f'n butta and are gonna get tossed around and bitch and moan when fouls do not get called. I say this thing goes 7.

If the Lakers play physical, they will win the series. Artest will make the difference.

All I know is that I saw the Celtics plow right through the Cav's and Orl. , not to mention the Heat. I just can't see the Lakers being able to stop the Celts train from continuing the roll.

Defensive Field Goal % in Playoffs:
1 Orlando 42.3 2 L.A. Lakers 43.7 3 Boston 43.8
Too bad the Lakers play no defense.
Their games are higher scoring because of the pace they play at, but they can clamp down in a half-court game if they have to.
