It seems like the US spends too much time chasing down rapist, serial killers, murders, and drug dealers. I lived in Canada for 2 years on a work **** and the news wasn't a constant stream of tragedies. With that being said there are opprtunities not avaialble in other countries in the US if you can survive the rapist, serial killers, murders, and drug dealers. Next thing to worry about is Al Gore and saving the planet.....Comment -

Worst thing to happen to US was - ironically - the decline of the Soviet Union. It left the field clear for all-out empire. Even the most bizarre of the late Roman emperors would envy the hundreds of military bases the US has worldwide. (WTF are we still doing in Korea, a war that ended over 50 years ago? Even most South Koreans don't want us there. And in the Japanese property of Okinawa, and all of Germany, in a war done in '45?)
The Founders of America believed a balance of power was the way to best preserve rights and liberty. Same thing on the world stage. If only the Yankees were left in pro baseball, with all the rest being Little League teams, baseball would be no more.
Money-lusting corporate globalists control America, with Zionists having a huge say on Mideastern affairs. This doesn't mean that "Jews" support the Bush/Cheney neocon agenda for perpetual war on behalf of Israel. The great majority of American Jews do not, and many are in the activist and journalistic forefront of the opposition to our insane Middle East policies.
But, as Gen Wesley Clark (himself part Jewish) pointed out on Huffington last year, the moneyed American Jews are squarely in the interventionist Zionist camp, wanting war with Iran, etc. And one of the most fanatic of these Zionists is Hillary's chief supporter, one Haim Saban.
