Had a crazy Parlay go crashing down tonight

Well I had the Rays and Nationals on a sweet little 2 teamer tonight.

The Rays were looking bad until the 9th when the WALKED by Kevin Gregg to take a 2 run lead and hold on to win.

Then the Nationals who had been loosing all game come all the way back and take the lead against Houston, only to see Lance Berkman beat them in the bottom of the 9th.

I know it doesnt sound that crazy but those two games gave me a wild ride on the night. I just cant believe Matt Capps went out their and blew it after the Nationals fought so hard to get the lead.


WATCH OUT FOR WASHINGTON, once they Draft Bryce Harper #1 and add him to the lineup next year or next sep along with Strasburg they are going to be the team to watch in the NL EAST!!!!!

the ending to the nats game was bullshit, berkman struck out on a check swing the pitch before he got the hit, but the 3rd base up called it a check swing.

everyone knew it, the crowd, both teams, the announcers.

fukkin terrible ass beat.

Check swings are ruled incorrectly probably 40-50% of the time.

However, the umps don't have the benefit of watching a slow motion instant replay of the swing either.

I didn't see it, stealthy, but I'm sure you just knew that Berkman was going to get a knock after that.

It's the same theory that when a team blows a golden scoring opportunity and then their opponent scores 3 runs their next at bat.

It's almost scary how predictable momentum swings in baseball can be...

I tell ya shorty it was a scrappy game, nats down early 4-0 tie it up in the 5th, go down again 6-4 and take the lead 7-6 in the top of the 9th.

then capps loads the bases with one out in the bottom, gets an out at home on a grounder to guzman. at that point shit looks great, had berkman in a 1-2 hole. then the phantom check swing happens. next pitch he knocks it down the left field line, easily gets two in, game over.

I totally believe those theories, happens so often, momentum swings happen more often in baseball than most other sports and are obvious when they're coming imo.

I wouldn't be surprised if the nats go into a tailspin, this has happened to them many times before in season's prior.

Oh lord guys I was following the Nats game on the computer and on mlb tv, but they never switched to the game instead they just kept talking BS on TV and never put the game on. So I never knew about the phantom Check call on Berkman........thanks guys I feel even worse!!!!!!
