First it is a gambling site not a savings site. What does 7 points get you? Same as 0 points: NOTHING, so why not wing it on a game. It not "real" money until you buy something then and only then does it have value. I rather go out firing then saving for a year, never risk anything and what get pizza's. Not that there is anything wrong with pizza's. Just my 2 cents.

to an extent...but many people here are betting so much that the value of even 5,000 points doesn't compare. So they value a dozen points here or there like most people value a filthy penny laying in a puddle of oil in the parking lot.... its not worth the time and effort to manage points in the same manner as money

I bet a lot of posters with zero points are just moving the points into their SBR Sportsbook acct which I don't think you can see how many points they have there. They might have a couple thousand points in their sportsbook account.

Not always the case. Plenty of guys out there with big money, points, and everything else to their name who are big losers when it comes to "capping" or gambling.

Lot of grinders out there with little to work with who can be a lot better at what they do than many high-rollers.

Not good logic, many guys get lucky building points. With real money guys are different, points vs money are not the same in most cases.

i personally would not attempt to manage points the way i manage money, they are free and replenishable everyday.

I put some of my points on Angels/Royals under tonight. I looked at my balance and it was graded a loss because I took the under in the game right next to Angels - Boston/Oakland - because the colors on the SBR book are crappy. Can't tell a difference in the games.
Granted, it was my fault for not verifying but I had some other games on there too. Learning lesson.

I bet my points. As everyone can see I kept an average of 600 after getting things from the store during football & college hoops. Since bases started I haven't had over 100. What does that tell ya?
