I think they could have made it a little more gritty. Its on HBO for fuks sake. 9 or 10 hours of it & I think I heard 6 swear words!!! These are fukin marines & sailors in the middle of the Pacific island hoppin' & killin' everything they see. They were a tad more rugged than the Spielberg & Hanks made them out to be

A movie I thought would be real good, as I am a history & civil war buff, was Gods & Generals. It was terrible. I love Robert Duvall, and the story was great, but the acting was almost Shakespearian and I just thought it sucked balls
