Matchbook and WSEX both offer live wagering.

Also you may want to try Tradesports.

Every event there can be traded live until the event has concluded, as opposed to a very limited amount of events at Matchbook.

Disadvantages are a higher take on winning bets (4% vs. 2%) and it is given a rating of C+ by SBR.

I would be interested in why SBR gives it such a low rating. Is it just because of the higher % take out, or are they in some questionable financial state?

        Art, et al,

At Tradesports, only a few events have market makers throughout the game; mainly games of high TV interest. Sort of overlaps with WSEX and prices are very efficient between the two sites.

I used TS for a couple of years until I learned of WSEX, now I like WSEX better.

Betting on other games at TS remain open while the game goes on, but without a MM, there is no liquidity, and in reality there is little if no in-game trading on non-featured games.

I think SBR's rating for TS is due to slow customer service. I tried to tansfer money from TS to Matchbook, but "had to wait till the next day"; it took 3 weeks to get my bankwire credited, etc.

Thanks for the response HAP, I agree about liquidity in the minor events but of course anyone can make a market there and provide liquidity.

At Matchbook the day before the Breeder's Cup, they only had 3 races available to wager on. And the only bet available on any race was if you wanted to bet against Curlin at -800. No bets anywhere else. Meanwhile Tradesports had a complete market available for all 11 races.

I disagree about customer service, never had a problem, banking is very strong there seems to be what several have written at this forum and my experience as well.

I would still like to hear from an SBR guru if there is a financial problem that they are aware of at Tradesports that is part of the reason for them being given so low a rating as C+?

Art, do you know anything about Tradebetx live betting? Seems to be part of TS operation, but not the same as TS.
