I have ran into many people over the last 2-3 years who are on unemployment due to losing their jobs. They could have found other jobs by now but don't think they need to try as long as the unemployment has not run out, its bullshit.

For the people that are truely looking for a job I dont have a problem with unemployment. It just sucks that there are always people that are going to abuse the system.

I am tired of helping every f'ing country that has a disaster. We have our own problems in this country (USA). We need to help our own and solve our problems.

Is the govt even kicking people off it after 2 years these days? I have talked to a couple people who have been on it over 3 years. I'm not entirely sure but I don't think they will cut you off, and its bullshit becasue at least half the people who are on it, will not even bother to look for a job till their unemployment runs out.

I'm one of those fck'n almost 2 year assholes. I've been applying and looking
since fck'n day one. 35 years in the printing industry, 40 years working and
never been unemployed. I'm 55 yo and all used up. Kids getting out of college
and kids looking for summer jobs are grabbing what ever jobs are out there.
Employers aren't suppose to discriminate against age, but according to the responces
I get (2 w/ no fck'n interviews) I beg to differ. And when you think the job market is
getting better, I hear of even more layoffs. WTF? I paid the Gov't all those years can
I get a little help when I need it?
