yes he said that it's not true and only fiction from movies. He said they were happy because it means more money for them and takes a little heat off them because he was gone. Less press.

My take is that he is still in it but smaller role and discrete. He is still a made man and needs cash.

Basically the oath means more about the mafia can never leave you than you leaving the mafia. If you leave the organization you are still bound to the code of silence.

The mafia went all to hell in the 70's. No code, no honor, the new generation didn't respect the ways of their ancestors & the old country. GREED!!!

I think he also did it to try and get the government off his back. What better way to tell people you left the mob and yet the government doesn't honor the agreement you made with them and keeps trying to prosecute you than going on 60 Minutes?

He is in prison I think. After he was in witness protection he returned back to a life of crime and got busted.

Henry Hill couldn't stand living like a regular citizen. He kept getting into trouble, selling extasy, dealing other drugs. His wife finally left him & the govt turned their back on him. He has actually wrote some fukin cookbooks! LoL!

No one is around anymore that he can harm so he's not a marked man by the mafia. Statute of limitations is way over on all that shit
