USA Does Not Want To Found Oil
Corrupt Gov't getting tons and tons of money from Middle East to shut it down and not look for it. We have tons of oil underground.

If we had oil in this Country it would be like 70 Cents a gallon only

JJ, you guys have way more oil above ground nowadays, all you gotta do is find a way to remove the salt water it resides in.

Politicians do not want to drill for oil

No money in it for them if we produce it

Plenty of oil in Alberta, just more expensive to take out of the ground

You'd rather make arabs rich than pay more for oil from white rednecks north of Montana

who do you think is drilling in Alaska ? - BP.
Rather use Saudi oil than put our environment at more risk.
Who cares - it costs us scrubs the same thing to buy
whether it's Exxon, BP, Shell or the ragheads it's all the same chit
whether we buy from corporations or the House of Saud it doesn't matter one bit.

What I hear is the drilling in Alaska with be in extremely shallow water compared with the 35 or so wells operating in the Gulf who have never had a spill before this one.

I think we really need to know why this leak happened and never before. I heard stories that employees told the supervisors of a seal problem and another story of a new salt water solution they tried rather than the older solution with was 6X more expensive to use in some fashion.

                      who knows.

Remember the old Concorde jet plane? One accident and they scrap it. Is that the right way to do things? I donno.

That's a fact, the oil sands in Alberta are the 2nd largest oil reserves in the world, next to only the Saudis. They may actually be the first since there's a lot of debate as to whether the Saudis are telling the truth about much reserves they actually have.

The Concorde was well on its way to extinction before that accident. It wasn't really profitable.

so you'd rather be slaves to the saudi oil men? I sure don't.
