Brock Landers, the former SBR star and Champaign natvive who reportedly earned 2000 dollars during the College basketseason, has filed for benkruptcy, court records show.
The May 18 filing in Champaign for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection is the latest development in a financial free fall that has resulted in Landers owing nearly $1 million in bad gambling debts and another $1 million to PIZZA HUT for eating more than delivering.
Landers, 36 - a product of bad seeds - owes more than 2 million dollars to various creditors, court records show, including 1000 dollars to Creditwarding.
Among his listed assets are a 3 dollar menu from Pizza hut and his bettingslip from the 2010 college final starring Butler, valued around a buck.
Landers could not be reached for comment Friday. In a respons to a Tribune investigation into his Pizza hut car in November, Landers apologized to his customers, blaming his various problems on JJ Gold and "alot of bad rubber beats througout my baseball career"
