#4Fishhead Vegas is a pressure place, housing still very cheap. It has lots of value right now, look into high rise units and buy a unit, 40% cheaper than peak prices.Comment -

#6Housing prices actually went up last month in Las Vegas. The reason for this is that houses had fallen so sharply that some good deals are there for the taking. Still many foreclosures because anybody that bought a home 2003-2007 has an upside down mortgage.Comment -

fishy.. i think i might spend one more year in the bay area.. and then give vegas a go next summer..
i own my own business. and sports betting takes up more of my time then my actual business does anymore..
I think i might give vegas a run.. and maybe try to corner the market there for my actual business..Comment -

Why in the world anyone would have a sign like that in Vegas when all drinks are free is beyond me.
I've crossed that walkway probably no less then 405 times in my lifetime.Comment -

#14-FH-...if you know the right folks..one can buy a house from a special force downtown before it actually hits the market in foreclosure...you must pay in cash and it must be done that day...for example...a $300,000 home 3 years ago goes into foreclosure and sells for 125 to 130..w/ connections can be picked up for 75 to 85...before it hits..a little work and must be fast find out about it go look and buy all within a short time frame...I'm working that as we speak...
I thought you may want to know about that little tidbit of advice...I put an offer in on a foreclosure about 2 months ago 330,000 3/ years ago and bank owned for 130,000,,put offer in at 131,000 and the bank sold it for 122,000 cash...
**** that..so I found more than one way to skin a cat...pull cash out of mine and pay cash before it hits the market...

#15Las Vegas home prices fell again in March as the city continued to be among the worst performers in the closely-watched Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller Home Price report covering 20 big U.S. markets.
I think housing prices will probably go down a little more; don't think they're quite at the bottom yet.Comment -
