I've had a number of days where I won around $2,000.00.
None from sports gambling though, that's for sure!! All from casinos. Blackjack, craps, and roulette. Mostly blackjack, and mostly when I count cards in the double-deck game at Mandalay Bay.

How difficult is counting cards? I would imagine that the double deck game and Mandalay Bay has a high min bet?

It takes a lot of practice, but is not that hard once you get used to it.
Well, it's usually $25 min I guess, but I think it might go down to $15 or even $10 on the off-hours, like daytime during week, etc.
Single-deck definitely goes down to low minimums, but single-deck is a pain because they don't deal enough hands for you to gain any advantage before they just shuffle again!

53k i hit a bad beat jackpot at my little indian joint back in Ft. lauderdale area.. right next to the hard rock casino...
i had pocket aces.. in third position.. playing 1 & 2 $ .. i raise 20 bucks.. everyone at the table folds except the dealer button.. flop hits a, k , 6.. i raise half my stack.. the dealer button comes over me.. i push all in.. he turns over pocket kings.. i turn over pocket aces.. so i am leading with a better set.. forgot what the turn was.. it was a burn basically.. the river was a king.. He hits his 4 of a kind and i loose with Aces over kings..
He won 30 k .. i got 54k .. tipped the dealer 1500.. other guy matched me for 1500 everyone at the table got 2200..
i was so pissed because i lost the hand.. i had forgotten about the bad beat jackpot.. my best friend was sitting next to me.. and i get up to act all pissed and he just jumps up and starts hugging me and thanking me .. i was like wtf.. ohh.. OHHHHH SHITTT!!!!

Its not hard at all
But then I am gifted with numbers
However most can pick it up with some practice I think
2,7,8,9 neutral
3,4,5,6 +1
10,j,q,k -1
count aces separately
deck is + bet big
deck is - minimum bet or walk away
the way the rules of the game are structured if u have a bankroll and u utilize this it is a mathematical certainty u will win

Warriorfan, what part of 707 are you from? I have often used that same Hi-Opt Count at River Rock and Sho-ko-wah, Singledeck can be very profitable

Yes, you can use this for up to as money decks as you want, the less the better
Always divide the deck count by how many half-decks there are remaining and that will give you your "true count"
