going to take boston at + money and the money line

my reasoning is simply fatigue kept the celtics from closing out in game 4.

The big three all had 43+ minutes and obviously had no legs with 6 minutes left in the fourth. Rondo also had an awful night. they still almost won.

I can't see Boston playing any worse and they match up wonderfully against Orlando.

I think Orlando would not only have to play a perfect game to win game 5 but Boston would also have to play their worst game.

the big three had to play 43+ because the magic brought the game to the celtics for the first time this series.. if they can do that again.. everyone will see how old this team really is and not even rondo will be able to carry them over the hill..

Van Gundy is a dumb shit.. both of them... but i think someone called him and told him how to beat the celtics.. if nelson brings that philly streetball pace again and gets creative with howard they are going to wear out this boston team...

JJ is starting to look like a young J stockton out there as well...

Holt you bring up some good points.. let me also bring up another good one.. Magic won without the Help of Vince Carter.. he was a ghost in game 4.. He will show up as well tomorrow.. he won't have 2 god awful playoff games.. that along with the home crowd will be enough to push this game to a game 6..

Remember Holt the Magic are the top seed.. they are a better team then last year.. and should not be counted out my friend.. I don't expect the Magic to loose 3 home games in a row.. something that hasn't happened all year.. remember they owned the celtics in boston this year.. why wouldn't they be able to win at least one home game?

Playoffs is all about momentum and the magic stole it back big time with that overtime win.. they did it with the refs against them and no VC.. i expect both of them to show up for the magic tomorrow

Some good points. Let me address them.

I won't count on Vince... Guy is the softest "star" in the league and doesn't even try to play defense. He really hasn't had a good game all series (even though he had decent numbers in game 1) As for JJ Redick... That man is red hot. I think Doc will emphasize how important it is to stick to him like glue..he's a run killer.

Rondo disappeared in game 4 also...I don't know what was wrong with him(they said back spasms????). He didn't defend well and he didn't run the point as well as he usually does. I think he will come out with energy and defend Jameer they way he did in the first 3 games, slowing him down and limiting his opportunities.

Love how the Boston bench is playing also, for the most part.

Game 4 was Boston's to lose and they did in the 4th quarter. No ball movement, no energy and tons of turnovers.

This is a championship team and I actually love this situation to put my money on them. I think they come out hungry and motivated to finally shut everyone up and rest for the finals. They have not forgotten the Magic coming back down 3-2 last year to send them home. The Celtics have the killer instinct. I do not see that with the Magic and will not put my money on them.

Anyways one of us will be right

agree with holt here, this one day of rest is helping boston more than orlando, orlando played good, boston just ok and boston still could of won.

Boston is just too loaded and better than there 2008 team. Rondo is a star now, great bench and r wallace added.

Orlando beat an overrated cleveland that would dominate over the bottom teams in the east. Cleveland would of been a 5 or 6 seed in the west and orlando a 4 of 5 seed maybe, perhaps even a 7 or 8 seed.

They have no height and no team with jj reddick playing 40 min is gonna win anything. Look for rondos energy to take over this next game . I'll take the plus 4 and even if boston doesn't win, they will cover the 4.

holt does bring up good points.. and that is the reason for this thread.. i didn't create it to get everyone sold on my side.. i want to hear what the group has to say and holt did a good job..

however TTwarrior i have to disagree with you here.. the one day rest will not help boston.. it will only help Orlando.. Orlando is the younger team .. coming home.. sleeping in their own beds.. playing at home..

i also think they didn't play up those games.. i think they expected to win them easily and so did vegas.. and they just didn't show up.. Lakers do it all the time..

things are awesome man.. can't complain. .i have been owning the NBA playoffs.. waiting for world cup to start.. also pumped i am going to be in vegas for my bday (july 2nd) and there will be some World Cup games going on during that time so i will be able to get some action down in vegas..

yeah i took the magic last night big as well as the over twice as big as the side.. LOL my roommate is a huge boston fan and he made me put a bet into my local at +4.5 i am an idiot for calling it in.. i should have just took the action...
