It should be around $1 per pound of aluminum. You will need to collect about 35 cans (12 oz) to make one pound of aluminum.

To make $100 you need to collect about 3500 cans. Actually you have to collect more than that to make up OEM expenses for your vehicle unless you plan to carry them on your back.
