    Phil Jackson and the Bulls
If Jackson does go back, you can bet Lebron will be signing a deal with the Bulls.

Prolly not, but still a small possibility. Who else can say they coached MJ, Kobe, Shaq, and LEBRON. How big would that be? Get your bulls futures in now

Don't think so, I thought the rumor was that LeBron wants to follow whichever NBA team hires away the Kentucky Wildcats coach- Calipari.

He's already stated publicly that if he decides to coach again next season, it would only be for the Lakers.

How many more years does Jackson really have left, if the Lakers win this year they would look good to repeat next year.

Didn't he come back from retirement for glory with the Lakers?

The man is tired and has achieved everything he wanted with players he has grown with, Chicago needs a new generation coach to come in who's hungry to build a franchise.

phil jackson will never leave KOBE for the PERENNIAL CHOKER, PJ may have his legacy tarnished 45-0 in the series when he wins game 1, it may be tarnished once he coaches the PERENNIAL CHOKER

There are rumors that the Lakers are telling Jackson he needs to take a big pay cut if he coaches next year. That will not sit well with Phil. If LeBron went to the Bulls, I could see Phil going to Chicago for a year or two.

kobe/gasol lost in 08. we'll see what happens when lebron gets a superstar player like shaq/gasol and a coaching legend like phil. phil, shaq, gasol, all have every bit as much to do with kobe winning as kobe does. teams win championships with great coaching and great players, not just one superstar player

kobe/gasol lost to a better/hungrier team in 08, remember lakers weren't even the favorites to win the west that year, san antonio was. i never said coaching has nothing to do with it, let's wait for the free agency period ends, if he gets an AMARE/BOSH or possibly WADE and still lose no more excuses huh? no more weak supporting cast excuses

I believe the quote was "I'm 90% sure I'd be coaching the Lakers". The Lakers are reportedly going to ask Phil to take a pay cut next year which won't sit well with him. If the Bulls or the Cavs make a large enough offer and can guarantee he'll have Lebron then he'll have to at least consider the offer. Same thing goes for Coach K right now. Keep in mind Phil once called Kobe "uncoachable". Also, Phil has always been handed stars in their primes throughout his career. With Kobe aging quickly, maybe it's time for him to jump ship.

It's documented in one of Phil's books as well as some of Jordan's words. The sheer corporate arrogance and power-struggling, delusional Bulls front office tore apart one of the greatest dynasties's in the history of sports. Michael Jordan has always said all that it took for him to come back for 1, 2, maybe 3 years in Chicago were for them to repair their relationship with Phil Jackson and re-sign. Chicago's front office (Reinsdorf & Krause) CHOSE against this. Krause is no longer there but Reinsdorf is.

Time seems to heal wounds for Phil though. Remember, he once called Kobe uncoachable, then went back to coaching him a few years later. Don't rule out Phil going to Cleveland either.

It would be great if Cleveland had 3 interested parties with that of Phil, Coach K, and Tom Izzo to choose from. They certainly seem to have the willingness and ability to offer an extremely lucrative package....
