Some say BP has a stake in EOG. I don't know who owns what. It makes no difference to me or SBR who owns them. If anyone actually cared what I thought I would prefer BP not own them. Not because of a conflict but I would think BP would be better served focusing on their own rather complicated business. A forum business that depends on other sportsbooks for advertising can be extremely distracting and difficult to run.

As an industry we are not better off seeing them go down so I hope they have or can find a stable owner.

Of course their ownership in EOG would not affect their rating. Rio owned TheRx for many years without any problems that I can think of rating-wise .

But if you think about it for a minute you start to see some concerns from a business stand point of view. The sportsbook industry is highly competitive. Some books will not do business with EOG if BP owns them. Same thing hurt Rio and the Rx. The CRIS family pulled out and encouraged others not to do business with The Rx. Meanwhile Rio seemed to wither and was never the same.

Someone asked if any book has a piece of SBR... no.
