Tough loss. As dominate as Pierce was I am clueless to why Boston did not get a time out at the end of reg and dial up a play to get Pierce to get in the lane and get a dunk, layup or a foul. That would have won it for Boston.

There was nothing special at all with John's offer this time around offering Boston at -300 and I am surprised so many people took him up on it.

The highest I saw Boston go was -330 @ Matchbook and they were @ -290 at tipoff.

In all of the threads discussing G4 Bos/Orl, 98% of the posters thought Boston could not lose. Reading those threads had to make you real bullish on the Magic.

SBRJohn does offer some special lines from time to time but his offer of Boston -300 was no great shakes.

the book had -380/+320 when I first saw it

the line later dropped, but when he first offered it, I took it and then grabbed the +320.

It wasn't a true scalp because I had 205 on Orlando ML, so I would've lost 105 had Boston won.

i bet that 90% of the time, a team up 3-0 with game 4 at home will close it out, its when a team is up 3-0 and they have game 4 on the road that is the tough one, this was more a lucky call than a great pick but i bet you SBR John, as good as he is, knows it was lucky
