I have hundreds of rec players sending me $300 to $500 a month. We are opening our new state of the art facility in July that will allow us to write up to 1,000 members for less then $15,000 a month. I follow a model that keep the sharps out and I know what I'm doing. We are going to be here for a long time my friend.

Well, I've been on these forums for over 10 years, and I've heard this from numerous other bookies/owners that have made themselves available in various forums................and many and most have went up in smoke.

Up to this point, REBATEWAGER has not had the slightest indication of any red flags, let's hope the ship continues to sail smoothly.

However, being rated a B- behind a BetPhoenix book that is rated B+ by SBR is a huge YELLOW FLAG...........and personally if I were you Blackie, I would be outraged at this.

Actually Jim your wrong on most things you have listed above. All payouts are free except fedex you are limited to one free a month. 10 cents lines are available to all our members who have made at least one deposit prior to the start of the MLB season and once they get dime lines they always get dime lines. We take up to 3,000 on most major US sports.

I would agree with the guys on soccer, if I was betting tennis, soccer or horses I wouldn't play at RW either. Lot of good books up top for that.

I guess I would rather be a wanna be bookie catering to a specific player then being a slum lord renting apartments to queers because my wife told me to do it. At least I wear the pants in my world.

Putting soccer and tennis in the same category is laughable in terms of betting volume. And what is the deal about the pants? You are not wearing pants if you are affraid to hang good lines for soccer. You are making a big mistake here not catering to a large potential clientele. But is your business and it is your privilege to run it the way you see profitable.

If I open a business, regardless what that business is I am entitled to run it as I see fit as long as I meet certain mandated criteria. Now I am fully aware that if I am selling milk for $.30 a gallon more than the store across the street then I am probably gonna sell less milk. May or may not be good business on my part but it is my business. You the customer have to decide for yourself if my store offers enough other services to make up the additional $.30 I got you for on the milk. If it doesn't you'll shop across the street. If it does you may still shop at my store just not buy the milk. It all comes down to choices and personal preferences. You are entitled to yours just as I am (or in this case RebateWager) to mine.

Suggestions are fine. Trying to understand reasoning is acceptable but criticizing seems futile in this case. If you were being FORCED to do something and that something had unfavorable conditions then it would be the debate. In this case though it seems pointless. It's Blackie's business to run and your choice to make.

Ask yourself this, if you owned RebateWager, if you were making money, if you weren't sweating trying to get new customers would you really change your lines if those in play were willing to pay the price?

Wal there needs to be a balance between what the business want and what the customers want. This is why business contact research surveys. Maybe there needs to be a structured type of a promotion where the higher your limits are the smaller the rebate gets. Or if someone wants 10c lines for baseball or better lines for soccer he trades that off with lesser rebate percentage.

I just busted out my $500 deposit at rebatewager. Despite the loss, I have to say that my experience with the book was generally positive. Customer service was probably the best of any online sportsbook I've dealt with, and getting $250 back at the beginning of football season is pretty sweet.

I recommend checking them out, especially if you can get the 25% freeplay for 399 SBR points.

Pavy. you make valid points. There is always room to balance the desires of players and the requirements of booksbut it still boils down to deposit and play or choose another book.

Now while I say that and honestly beleive it to be true I would also bet dollars to donuts that Blackie and his brand take these types of debates and this type of feedback into serious consideration. Maybe every great once in a while it is an instant "Money Where Mouth Is" like he did with,...............crap................ ...it was in that thread and Blackie gave him basically $1000 free play opportunity, can't remember the poster. Maybe sometimes it is something like this thread and after some consideration he decides to offer better lines on certain sports.

From what I have learned in the brief time I have been paying attention to RebateWager is they are geared towards recreational players. That is their bread and butter and as one myself I can tell you we rarely stop to shop lines. Most of us have one maybe two books and never even know if there is a better line out there. That doesn't make Blackie a crook or even a bad businessman. He is providing a service and has a clientele that is either happy with what they have, niave to what's available or see enough other benefits to not care about a higher price.

i dont know much about rebate.. i dont know much about blackie.. but i have been around this hustle and a few others i won't mention before i started using my brain for good..

One thing i do know.. That i can tell right off the bat.. is this Dude is about his money.. he comes correct.. and you have no reason to try to serve him nor should you cause in the end it will probably end badly for you..
