Cyclists = whats wrong with these fvcks?

Was in Lake Placid Starbucks and there were a group of bike riders there. Some were there with their wives. Most were in their 30's. All the men had shaved their legs. Most had razor burn and small cuts especially on the back of their legs.

Now I can understand why a guy in the Tour de France shaves his legs I guess for wind resistance .(doubt that adds more than a second over a long stretch but alright. But these weekend warrior bike riders shaving their legs??? I know I'm kind of an old fvck but I dont get this.

Am I missing something?? Anyone here shave their fvcking legs??

its not about wind resistance..... that is beyond minimal in air.... it only works for water resistance (swimmers)

shaving the hair helps to minimize the problems from wiping out on the pavement (road rash stuff)

its about looking sexy, i know many guys who shave their legs and i have done it once or twice just to see what i thought. It was too much work.

I see men at the gym with shaved legs and they are not even swimmers or bikers. In fact if I go to the sauna or steam room and see a guy with shaved legs it is a red flag for me.

Pavy, those guys are prob bodybuilders or wannabe bodybuilders, they think the body is better displayed with no hair getting in the way....

Bikers, don't want to have to treat wounds with hair getting inside of them and infecting them.... also some guys that ride a ton in the less urban areas, worry about ticks.... so shaving the hair helps them avoid some of those problems too...


all in all, I guess there are alot more good/practical reasons for a male cyclist to shave his legs than there are for a women to shave her legs and pits....


but i'm very glad I live here, and women that matter to me, shave those areas..... and I don't know any cyclists anymore, so that doesn't matter to me either

The only part that is a little upsetting is you had to remind him of the loan and to repay. You shouldn't of had to say a thing and the points should of just been coming into you. Oh well, at least you are getting them.

as a former swimmer in HS and College, I had alot of fun year end co-ed shaving parties in the showers, my freshmen year I drank too much and shaved my own legs with an old razor and cut my legs all up....

every year after that I had a girl/girls shave my legs with their pink/girly razors.....alot more fun, and those razors were VERY GENTLE

my leg hair is long and it was a long process, i went through like 4 disposable mach 3 razors. Safe to say i didn't do it again. Did you shave to shave your thighs too?

a few years back I trimmed up my upper bodyhair for some after pictures for a small failing supplement sponsorship before/after photo gig. I was in agony for a week of itching when the hair was coming back in, and I didn't even shave with a straight edge....

I have been in the company of bike riders, 50% are gay or Bi. The wives thing is a front. If your a guy and want to play all you do is join a bike club and go biking and you will score. Some guys actually have zippers in the back for you know what. Attend any bike rider even and many guys exchange numbers and hook up. Also most bike riders shave their cocks also. A few years back guys were razor stubbing each other which means they would shave the other guys cocks. Walker I would stay away from bike riders.

John here is my thinking. If God wanted humans to have dolphin skins without hair it would have created them without body hair. Nothing in nature is done randomly. There is a reason leg hair is needed.
