The Doors were only around for 3+ years, but left a legacy that may take other bands 30 years. Dylan and Morrison were easily the most influential poets of the 20th century.
Morrison is still helping to shape young minds.

                        Um,

I beg to differ, but this is essentially a flawed question since the premise is ultimately subjective.
I know most people have never heard these records, but they are all pretty amazing.
This would be my pick, and it's over a span of only 1 year and 10 months:

Um...determining what is "better" is completely subjective. That is why the statement is flawed.

The fact that Zeppelin 1/2 came out within 8 months of each other is really impressive.
