A MAJOR reason why Gamblers FAIL : Poker & Sports
Unable or wont regroup and adjust while on a down swing. Taking a break & reducing play is a must!

Very hard for a 20/40 poker player to go back to 5/10. EGO

Very hard to get the same rush on a $50.00 bet after having placed $300.00 ones. Pathological

i dont play online poker anymore. I just could not win at it long term. Ive had much more success playing poker in-person but dont get the opportunity much. A casino is going to be built by the end of 2012 tho

Greed is the reason why most gamblers fail

Greed is also the most successful institution in the world

Also Fear! Why is it we'll be quick to lay $300 to win a $100 on a -300 favorite but hesitant to lay $300 on the dog to get back a dime?

I am dealing with this same situation you mention right now, but I believe I am handling it modestly.

Most people do not have the discipline to be winners and just bet strong angles

We all bet for the rush period

                          smart thinking here Sam
The problem is that people gamble/play poker/sportsbetting because they get a thrill out of it; the like getting goosebumps.
So the problem lies with the original reason of why people play.
