    Teasers: Refund/Reduce on Push???
Is it common to have a 4 team teaser wager with 3 wins & a push graded as a push instead of reducing to a 3 teamer? I've looked around at several books and I haven't found any other books that grade like this...as far as I can tell, they all reduce on 3+ team teasers...

    Am I wrong about this?

it depends on the teaser 6-7pts is usually pushed back. 10-13 point teasers are a complete push or even loss. How many points did you get?

Yes, you are correct, and I should have specified that it was a basic 6 point teaser...

Where did you bet this? It should reduce to a 3-team winner.

          Under,

I've never heard of a book that does this - every rule set I've ever seen for 6-pointers makes ties reduce.

what book is it? I'd like to check it out.

            BetEd is the book...

I thought it was just a misgrade, but they sent me an email stating that this is the way that they grade 6 point teasers...

Wow. I looked at their site, and sure enough, that's how the rules are.

This is a MAJOR rip-off. A tie gives the book a shot to win the bet, but no way for you to win.

I forwarded this thread to Randy the BM at betED.com and he informed me the software can not differentiate between 2 teamers that should not reduce and multi teamers where they should reduce.

Sounds like there was confusion on the betED end for sure and it's being rectified.

He says the winnings have been credited and the player has been comped something for the inconvenience as well.

Additionaly I suggested the text on the rules page be changed to reflect the correct rule and to avoid similar situations in the future. He expects it to be in place within 24 hours.

2 team teasers at Pinny are regarded as a push whether it is win/tie, lose/tie or tie/tie. I had a lose/tie last week and it was nice to get my money back.
