Say you and your friend has a 5D account and your friend logs in under his account on your computer. Do books care? What if you send in both of our ID's? I mean it's pretty typical that you and a friend are watching the games at one or the others house and both have online accounts.

#2i'd ask them first.....just hop on live chat and let them know......better than logging in and finding out your account is locked because 2 accounts were accessed under the same ip.....
fortunately, i have no friendsComment -

#4I dont think books care what IP you log in under, thats crazy. They are not your babysitter & understand you may be god knows where & need to place a bet, you're a degenerate for fuks sake. It's your responsibility to protect your password, not theirs. Thats why they ask for ID before a payout, though. Only the guy that signed up for that acct can get money out. If you lose your license & your username & your password you dont need to be gambling anyway. You'll leave the cash in a bathroom or give it all away to a late night televangelistComment -

#7Seems odd they would care. I am usually watching games at my buddies and use his laptop to put wagers in just cuz it's easier to do then thru my iPhone.Comment -

#9Call it in instead. I don't use another person's computer for anything, especially for an account that has my money in it. Why risk it? Just call it in when you are away from your computer. Or get internet on your cell.Comment -

#13An A book would not care IMO because this is a common thing, friends getting together to watch the games and using the same laptop/computer. However as others have posted, the lower rated books will use any reason not to pay and this could be one of the reasons.Comment -

#14I have done this several times & have no problem. It seems like you are talking something about 2 customers of the same book doing something with their accts, and I dont understand that, but as far as using same IP addresses, there's no way around that. I use a wireless internet, so anytime I take my laptop somewhere I'm always on a different IP than where I signed up from. Now if they have 2 customers on the same IP, like you use your friends computer and he uses that IP also, I still dont see why that would matter. As long as your username & PW is used to log into your acct, and your ID they ask for when withdrawing has the same name & address as what they have on file with that username & PW, thats all that mattersComment -

#16Good point with wireless, I use it as well so don't see how this would cause a problem. Heck if you're on the road and staying in a hotel, there could be a handful on the same IP.Originally posted by THE PROFITI have done this several times & have no problem. #17exactly. The only red flag I can see is lets say I signed up at 5Dimes at my house with my IP. Now you come over to watch the game & log onto your acct even on your computer but on my IP. I think this is what hes talking about. I dont see that as a red flag, but thats different than everyone being at a hotel. That would be like everyone at the bash using the hotels wireless. They could have 50 people placing bets throughout the day from the same IP. That is normal shit IMOOriginally posted by iceminers26Good point with wireless, I use it as well so don't see how this would cause a problem.
