I got the infraction Profit for allegedly plugging my site when in fact it was all about SBR and the posters. I actually did it with pure intent. It had nothing to do with my site and everything to do with SBR but I'm sure one idiot complained (Profane Reality) and they had to do what they had to do I guess. Bend the rule for one you've got to break them for all. I get where they're coming from but it still sucked.

Profit, Rebate Wager is a sponsor of SBR's as you can see they are one of the banners at the top of this page. They have a financial arrangement worked out with them and JJGold is hooked with that company and SBR. It's a symbiotic relationship and I completely understand why JJ is allowed to promote them at will. It actually behooves SBR to have him do that as they derive money from RW.

Although you are not allowed to promote sites on SBR (that are not sponsors), I thought SBR would actually get a kick out of this podcast. Aside from Richard Moss, the only communication I received was an infraction. No good deed goes unpunished right Profit? I have some people on this site that post on a few other gambling forums (was just going to name them but remembered the rules) who dislike me because I was busting chops by promoting my site. I only did it because I got a kick out of all the old codgers getting pissed that I was promoting. And the irony is, I was only promoting because it got them pissed! I follow the rules closely here because I have more of a history with these guys and I truly enjoy the innovative spirit here. That being said, sometimes it's more important to enforce the "spirit" of the rules than the rules themselves. Not my call though, I'm just a guest in their home.
